Blue Jays rookie Yariel Rodriguez has battled with staying consistent this season as has he ERA on the season.
Fans were beginning to feel hopeless after a few bad starts in a row but Rodriguez has since turned things around quite a bit.
In his last 13 starts, Rodriguez has a 3.97 ERA and 9.2 strikeouts per 9 innings to go along with a 1.15 WHIP which is solid for a rookie pitcher that is currently 5th in the rotation.

Not bad for a rookie/number 5 starter.
Rodriguez has been consistently improving and seems like he could be a reliable pitcher next season for the Blue Jays in he continues to get better in the off-season.
