The Blue Jays took on the Cubs yesterday in Chicago and had Yariel Rodriguez on the mound who did not necessarily have a bad performance but definitely an interesting one.
Rodriguez pitched for 5 innings where he struck out 5 batters and only gave up 4 hits but all 4 hits resulted in earned runs as 3 of them were homeruns.
After the game, Rodriguez spoke with reporters and stated that he felt really good about his game, he added that he only made 3 mistakes and they ended up being costly as all 3 were homeruns.
While Rodriguez did have a solid game overall, giving up 3 homeruns will always play with a pitchers confidence.
