Blue Jay fan that was hit by foul ball receives compensation
Blue Jay fan Liz McGuire was recently hit in the face by a foul ball at the Rogers Centre and took to social media to say how she didn't even get to keep the ball.
A near by fan decided to pick up the ball after she was hit and did not want to give it up. McGuire took to social media after the game posting a picture of her injury and stating that she stayed until the end of the game but got nothing in return for her injury.
Hey
@BlueJays
I got my face mashed in by a 110mph foul off Bo Bichette's bat. I didn't even get the ball. I even stayed till the end of the game. Any way you can hook a girl up? #tothecore #bluejays

The team heard about her story and one of the representatives reached out to invite her to an upcoming game and assure her that she will be getting a signed ball from Bo Bichette.
To add to that, Topps trading card company even made her a baseball card with the picture she posted online of her injury on it.
