Jays announce big injury update regarding 3 of their pitchers
The Blue Jays have been without 3 of their pitchers for the last few weeks, Chad Green, Yariel Rodriguez and Bowden Francis.
Green made his first rehab appearance in Triple-A yesterday and it went very well as he will be taking the mound again Wednesday. Francis has already started his rehab process as well and will be pitching in Triple-A once again on Wednesday.
Rodriguez on the other hand has yet to start in Triple-A since his injury but will supposedly have his first start today for the Bisons which means he is getting closing to a return as well.
#BlueJays injury updates:
Chad Green's rehab outing went well yesterday and he'll throw again in Triple A on Wednesday
- Bowden Francis will make another rehab outing with Buffalo on Wednesday too
- Yariel Rodriguez is scheduled to start for Buffalo tomorrow
This is positive news for the Blue Jays as they have seemed to be dealing with some major injury issues since Spring Training.
