The Toronto Blue Jays announced this morning that Myles Straw is headed to the paternity list to be with his new born and the team has decided to call up Addison Barger.
The Blue Jays announced last night that Lukes and his wife welcomed to the world a baby boy by the name of Taylor during their game against the Atlanta Braves in which he played in.

The Blue Jays announced this morning that Barger is on his way back to the majors while Lukes is going to spend time with his family as he has been placed on the paternity list.

Barger has been off to an incredible start in Triple-A with the Buffalo Bisons so far this season as he currently has 2 homeruns with a .421 slugging percentage so far this season.
The Blue Jays have just called up Addison Barger from Buffalo.

Many fans thought that Barger should have made the team this season and with players such as Davis Schneider and Ernie Clement struggling, if he plays well, he might end up staying in the majors.
It will be interesting to see how Barger ends up playing in his first game back and if he can prove to management that he deserves to stay in the majors for the rest of the season.
