The Toronto Blue Jays seem to be eyeing free agent third baseman Alex Bregman as he is still on the market and could bring in some much need offense.
As the Blue Jays are trying to land any solid free agent possible, their plans for the 2025 season seem shaky with so many different possibilities such as trading Bo Bichette.

Bregman is said to be looking for a deal worth over $200 million which most insiders believe would be a big overpay if a team does extend him a contract of that size since his game has declined a bit over the past few seasons.
MLB insider Jim Bowden believed at the beginning of the off-season that Bregman would land a deal worth around $189 million but Sportac estimates he will land a deal of about 4 years worth around $119 million.
Early in the off-season, The Athletic's Jim Bowden released a prediction article and projected Bregman to earn a seven-year, $185.5 million deal. His Spotrac market value sits at $30 million a season, which equates to $119.9 million over a four-year deal. -Delaney
Despite many believing that Bregman is no longer the player he once was, he still hit 26 homeruns last season with a .260 batting average and .315 on base percentage which could certainly help the Blue Jays offense.
Last season with the Houston Astros, Bregman slashed .260/.315/.453 with 26 home runs in 634 plate appearances, with a career-low 6.9 BB% and a 13.6 K%. He finished the season with a 118 wRC+ and a 4.1 fWAR. -Delaney
Many did not want to see Bregman in Toronto at the start of the off-season but with so little left in the free agent market, signing Bregman looks to be one of the Blue Jays best options moving forward.
