Finally, some good news has been announced for Jays' enthusiasts across the league.
In a turbulent season so far for the Toronto Blue Jays, manager John Schneider announced during a media availability on Wednesday that future hall of famer Joey Votto has made significant progress in his rehabilitation after suffering a pre-season ankle injury which caused him to be out of the lineup indefinitely.
"Joey Votto is getting pretty close to playing in (minor-league) games. He's been doing everything in terms of base-running, hitting live BPs, feeling good. ... I think you'll see him in some games very, very soon." said John Schneider"
Could we see the likes of Joey Votto making his regular season debut for the Blue Jays in the near future? The Jays would surely benefit from his offensive fire power and his veteran presence.
