The MLB trade deadline is still 8 weeks away but since the Blue Jays are in need of turning things around quickly if they still plan on making the playoffs, they will likely make some moves prior to that.
As the Blue Jays starting pitcher depth has struggled this season, going after starting pitcher Erick Fedde would tremendously help. This could be a great option as he's been having breakout season this year with the White Sox with a 3.12 ERA in 12 starts plus Chicago has been vocal that they are looking to sell players before the deadline.
Finally, the last player the Blue Jays could be eyeing is RP Tanner Scott who has been having a solid season in Miami, a team also looking to sell players at the deadline. The Jays bullpen desperately needs help and Scott could certainly do that.
