Prior to yesterday's game against the Red Sox, Blue Jays manager John Schneider spoke on his injured pictchers and gave some positive updates.
Schneider told reporters Garcia's MRI came back showing no structural damage but that he is due to miss some time. Romano is back to throwing from 90-120 feet away meaning he should be back soon while Rodriguez is set to return to Toronto and make his first start back on Friday.
#BlueJays injury updates per John Schneider: - Yimi Garcia had an MRI and no structural damage. He's day to day - Romano throwing from 90-120 feet today - Yariel Rodriguez is here and will go through his normally between starts routine. He's in play to start Friday
This is great news for the Blue Jays who were quickly running out of options for pitchers with Garcia going down a few days ago.
