Bad news for the Toronto Blue Jays comes back from Jeff Hoffman physical examination

The Toronto Blue Jays just signed relief pitcher Jeff Hoffman to a deal but news broke afterwards that his physical examination came back with some bad news regarding his throwing shoulder.
The Blue Jays announced their first signing of the 2025 season as they signed Hoffman to a three year deal worth $33 million that will pay him an average of $11 million per season.

After the Blue Jays signed Jeff Hoffman, bad news came out regarding the Hoffman's physical evaluation that seems to be worrying quite a few fans as it has to do with his throwing arm.
According to reports, the Baltimore Orioles had a 3 year offer for $40 million but they ended up pulling their offer after his physical because it showed quite a bit of damage to his throwing shoulder.

This is bad news for the Blue Jays even though they signed the deal with Hoffman fully aware that Hoffman has these issues with his shoulder but it looks like Ross Atkins is not too concerned.
Signing Hoffman was clearly huge for the Blue Jays bullpen as he is now their best relief pitcher but there is no doubt that his shoulder can become an issue down the line.
Hopefully everything works out over the three years he will spend in Toronto and it should not be a problem if the Blue Jays do not over use him.
