Atkins made it clear Jansen could be moved prior to the deadline

Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins made it clear that the team will be listening and is open to all trade involving players on expiring contracts.
This unfortunately includes fan favorite catcher Danny Jansen who has been having a great season despite starting off the season with a serious injury.
Jansen is aware he has yet to sign an extension and could be moved in the coming weeks but stated he will keep his head down and keep working until something happens.
«It's part of the game, right? It's something you learn,» Jansen said. «I'm grateful to be in this situation, of course. I'm trying to control what I can control, keep my head down and keep working.»
Fans would love for Jansen to stay in Toronto but with no extension in sight, it seems unlikely for the time being.
