A broadcaster for the New York Yankees hinted today on YES Network that the Blue Jays might be conducting some foul play and are potentially cheating during home games.

The series in New York, the Jays did not foul off the amount of pitches this team does -- it's like it's a different team in this ballpark.

When the Blue Jays faced the Yankees just more than a week ago, the Jays were able to pick up the first win of the series. Saying that, the Jays struggled offensively and on the mound to lose the next consecutive two games, which has been a recurring story for the start of the season.
The Blue Jays seemingly have found a groove since playing at home, the team has been able to win three consecutive series.
Toronto was going for the sweep today, (their first sweep of the Yankees since 2021), but ultimately lost in the 9th inning due to Aaron Judge
The main narrative has been that the Yankees announcer has seemingly accused the Blue Jays of cheating because of their success at home. He noted a significant shift in their approach compared to their previous series.
You know what's curious to me, though? We just saw the Blue Jays in The Bronx, and what we watched was a completely different team than the one we've seen here in Toronto. The one in New York did not foul off the amount of pitches this team does -- it's like it's a different team in this ballpark. Now, home field advantage, there is something to that, but why would it manifest itself in the ability to foul off tough pitches? ... You can understand it if the next time you see them, after you saw them in The Bronx, is a month and a half later, but this is a week later, and it's a completely different approach and a completely different team.

Kay never explicitly said "cheating," but his implications left little to the imagination, leaving viewers to draw their own conclusions.
