Toronto Blue Jays closer Jeff Hoffman decided to blow a kiss towards the Baltimore Orioles dugout after the Blue Jays had won their game 7-6.
Hoffman, who originally was going to sign with the Orioles this year had a deal worth three years and $40 million in which they backed out as they had concerns about his shoulder and his physical health.
Hoffman had another deal derailed due to this Orioles move
The Atlanta Braves also showed much interest in Hoffman's services and offered him a similar deal to which they backed out as well due to the Orioles move.
In the end, the former Blue Jays draft pick decided to return to the team where he signed a three-year $33 million contract and has been spectacular as the closer for the Blue Jays over the past few weeks.
It was clear that Orioles fans were not pleased to see him as he walked out onto the mound, he was booed by many within Camden Yards.
He threw two scoreless innings as he entered the game in the bottom of the ninth where the Blue Jays in the Orioles were tide 6-6 to which the Blue Jays won the game 7-6 in extra innings.
Blue Jays Road trip comes to an end with mixed results
The Blue Jays have completed their two-week road trip where they had stops but the New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and the Orioles.
The team showed mixed results as they were swept by the Mets, then had a strong series against the Red Sox and split between the two games against the Orioles as the first game was scheduled then postponed due to weather issues.
