A few Toronto Blue Jays prospects are on their way to the majors
As the Toronto Blue Jays continue to settle into their new season, it appears several of their top prospects may be due for an early promotion this season to the next tier of baseball.
The Blue Jays have several strong prospects within their organization who have shown that they can take their games to the next level which has been echoed by Blue Jays writer Keegan Matheson.
Yesavage tops the list of potential promotions for Blue Jays
Blue Jays prospect pitcher Trey Yesavage may be the most likely player who will see a potential promotion as he had shown excellent numbers in his senior year last year prior to being drafted by the Blue Jays.
In his senior season, he went 11-1 with a 2.03 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and a whopping 145 strikeouts over 93 1/3 innings. He also flashed some of his sky-high potential in the Blue Jays' spring breakout game, where he struck out three batters over two scoreless innings. Chris Georges
He has been ranked as the number 2 prospect according to Matheson and will likely see himself leave the Dunedin Blue Jays And head up to the High A Vancouver Canadians.
Another player in contention is 2nd baseman Adrian Pinto who has had some struggles regarding injuries that have kept him at Bay in terms of his development.
Over the past couple of years, he has missed many games and had shown strong play in only 17 games with the Vancouver Canadians.
Across just 17 games with Vancouver last year, he slashed .300/.355/.571, while also hitting a key home run in the Northwest League Championship series as well. He continued his strong play in the Arizona Fall League, where he slashed .274/.392/.357, with more walks than strikeouts (14:13). Chris Georges
Early this season, he has had a great start to 2025 and had three hits along with the home run through his first eight at bats. His next stop will likely be the AA New Hampshire FisherCats is he may be ready to graduate.

Over the last couple of months of the year with New Hampshire, he pitched in ten games, compiling an 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and striking out 12 over 10 innings.
His excellence continued into big league spring training, producing a 1.93 ERA and five strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings. He was named the Blue Jays Minor League Pitcher of the Year by the Toronto Blue Jays. Chris Georges
